Resetting the bios should be very simple if you haven't figured it out already. Boot it up, get into bios, there's always an option to restore defaults. if you can't find it, check to see if you have a cmos jumper that will clear it. If all else fails unplug the computer and pull out the motherboards battery, let it sit for 30 seconds and pop it back and and boot it up.
I'm running a real nice overclock on my AMD processor, never had any problems with EQ. If it were a hardware issue I'm really not sure how it would work with PvP and not the real server.
