It only takes 1 fungi twink to wreck a group in rags. Force them to call LnS, then enforce it. If someone is enough of a dick this could continue for hours. At least in qeynos area, it's harder to travel to, so fungi twinks don't bother. Think about port locations. Freeport and Gfay have a ton in lower areas, while the closest to qeynos is west karana or north (Toxxulia if they ride the boat) fungi gankers spend upwards of 200-300kp on gear. 50p per port is nothing to them, they usually get ports from their high end buddies anyways. Gfay may be faster with groups, but qeynos is alot safer and easier in the end.
If you're trying to avoid pvp/people entirely then sure.

Despite pk twinks there is something to be said for leveling around them and learning how to deal with/be aware of them. Red is a different mind set from blue and learning to set up /who logs, keep see invis/buffs/health up and figuring out which spells are worthless and which are useful is as important as actually getting YT.

Group leveling will far outpace solo leveling despite PKs actively trying to wreck groups. Coincidentally, learning to deal with griefers is also an important part of Red99.

Finally, you should quickly out level PKs in just a session or two so although annoying they are almost a non-factor. It only takes a bag or two of looted bronze to equip a caster in their important spells per lvl and money only gets easier as you start killing mobs who drop gems etc.
