Ashenbone Drakes Casting Planes of Power Era Spells

saw this today in Plane of Hate:
[Tue Nov 11 23:11:57 2014] an ashenbone drake begins to cast a spell.
[Tue Nov 11 23:12:01 2014] You resist the Torbas' Poison Blast spell!

allakhazam says this is a Planes of Power era spell, also no mention of it until 2002
