Why do you have such a boner for TMO? Not trolling, genuinely curious why you have such a penchant for them. Are you even in the guild?

This has been a running logical fallacy for a number of people. It's sort of a converted form of "if you are not with us, you are against us." In my case, this has been extended to an unstated standard argument something like this:

Alawen is against FE
TMO is against FE
Therefore, Alawen is with TMO

This has some acceptance as common but illogical wisdom in the phrase "my enemy's enemy is my friend," which is only sometimes true.

I have some friends in TMO, and I recognize them as the number one guild on this server, but neither of those things are the reason I disparage FE. I found Visceral and Mortiiss to be dreadfully pompous with all their bragging about things they were going to do, and they have, in fact, never followed through on those boasts. I also found both Sloan and Shinko to be intolerable assholes and utterly greedy lootwhores during my brief time in BDA.

My ongoing observations of FE member behavior reinforced my early prejudice against them, though this could be attributed to confirmation bias. If anything, my dislike for FE reinforced any affection for TMO, and not the other way around.

It amuses me to have people claim I'm sucking up for pixels and other such nonsense, usually with homoerotic connotations, which is why I haven't previously posted anything to quell the accusation. I think it reflects much more about the motivations of the accusers than what it says about me. Anyone who knows me even a little bit will quickly realize that I always speak my mind, often to my own detriment.

TL;DR: Hating on FE doesn't make anyone a TMO fanboy.

Anyway, I was just curious, I rarely play on this server anymore. Its just odd to me to see someone defend a guild so vehemently that they aren't even a part of.

I obviously misspoke; TMO is fairly ubiquitous on the server and secondary references to them are common.

Neither of those can in any way be construed as me defending TMO. The concept doesn't even make sense.
