Kag you come off as a jackass in this, reapin never lost his temper in any of his posts, but in everyone of of your you start it with some variation of "no you're wrong because I'm right and I know it." Not very graceful of you.

It's pretty objectively cowardly.

Yes, yes, you're "facing the unknown" and all of that. But there's also a definitive "known" right there in front of you (life), that you're incapable of dealing with.

If you set off for an unknown because you're unable to cope with and endure the known, then that is certainly not courageous.

There's exceptions to everything. Is it selfish? Yes. But I can say as a parent, if I lost one of my kids it would be hard to go on. I see no heroism in it though.

Learning is painful for some. They tend to flail about like a fish out of water when contemplating things that disturb them or threaten the foundation of their currently held beliefs.

Thread needs context.

Soldier/marine going on a one way mission to accomplish a task, particularly ones that involve them actively ending their own lives in the process (detonating a bomb) would be considered a most courageous act. The same would be said about someone diving on top of a grenade tossed into a foxhole. You could even say the same about kamikaze pilots.
are you michael bay?

Now you're coming at me like the majority of the population comes at hasbinbad. I'm sure you won't understand that either.
I consider my relationship with Hasbinbad personal and not at all part of a mob mentality. He's actually one of my favorite posters.

That doesn't mean he's not full of shit, though.
