Has anyone done some work or know about the magic resist formulas on this server?
I'm looking to do some gear min/maxing and trying to find out how MR/CR/FR/DR/PR affects spell resists on this server.

You basically want as close to 200 as you can get for any given resist. For example, 182 unbuffed MR keeps me unfeared for pretty much all encounters. If it sticks, it breaks quickly.
MR The dragon killer. Absolutely get this as high as you can. 200 as an unrealistic, but ideal goal. PR Trakanon's element. If you're FE / TMO, max this one too. CR might be valuable for exping if you're a tank / puller / VP trainer, otherwise useless. FR CAN help, but you have to drop MR to raise FR usually. Resisting a fear is way more important than reducing / resisting a fire AE. DR is essentially useless for everyone, with one exception. If you don't raid, disregard all of this and max your hp / str / mana / we.

Most raid encounters are fight by fight. For example, Trakanon has an unresistable AE fear, but resistable AE poison dot. Severilious has a hard to resist AE fear, an easily resisted poison dot.
I'd hope for 100+ MR when fighting shamans / wizards, for the slow / rend resists. DR is pointless to get up. PR is easy to be buffed up with caster buff + DMF. CR is useful against wizards and shamans, Fire resist against wizards only really. If you were pulling for an exp group, all dark blue I'd want 100+ in each resist that you want to resist with any reliability.
