Why would anyone start a new character on a server with RZ rules where everyone is 60

Since I'm in the box I thought fuck I'd like to play a monk sometimes - so I put my fungi/adamantite staff/staff of battle/rbb/hp rings/hbc etc etc and I could possibly not make it past 25.

I don't think it's about the journey at all - it's just really fucking boring.

It amazes me that people wonder why the player base won't go up when it's self explanatory from the rule set alone.

If you make a new character, you're gonna be soloing from level 1-60. Who wants to solo a warrior or cleric to 60? You can't even PvP till 60 either since anyone you find is going to be a melee in a fungi tunic that just automatically wins. Overpowered, low level items like this were mitigated on SZ because you could just call in a level 60 to instantly kill the level 10 fungi tunic SK.

And once you get to 52, prepare to grind FAST (like real, super fast, a month or so, 6 hours a day? Its about the journey dude, enjoy yourself!) to 60 so you arent fodder for the ancients on the server already decked out in gear and be sure to evade all PVP with anything that isnt a total undercon because youll lose huge chunks of xp hindering your climb to 60.

Once youve done all this fun stuff and get to 60, expect fun filled nights of pvp that lasts a really small amount of time compared to the time youll have to put in PVE by dying a couple of time. This isnt call of duty bro, so get grinding!

I'd love to see an experiment where they doubled this exp rate, for all levels for a bit.

Shits a fucking broken resist code low pop emulator, no need to act like this is classic anymore is there.

They dont playtest the server, and they dont listen to the feedback the players give them. I tried steering the server in a direction that is fostering the pop of the server for something close to a year, makes pvp more fun so youll have fun pvping on the way up but to no avail.

Not only do they not listen to your feedback, the communication is dirt poor, they will almost never come out and say "Well, the rationale for the ruleset is this, or that, and what do you guys think, is it working, could we improve?"

Theyve got this ostrich with its head in the sand thing going on where because part of the population are fucking idiot trolls (and they are) it means they should ignore 99% of feedback that is posted on the forums and its a free emu, if you dont like it stop bitching and leave, which is what i did.
