What is your BEST item?

As sad as this may sound, right now it's my Shield of the Slain Unicorn. I never used it back in the day because everyone talked about how crappy it was. Sure you can't bash with it but at level 21 a 10/40 1H weapon aint all that bad. I kinda like double hitting for 20 and/or crit for 40 in the offhand (before the damage cap increase). And the extra AC is a nice added bonus. I'd say it's underrated.

I'm curious, does it get any sort of damage bonus due to the long delay or is the >=40 delay bonus only given to 2-handers?

sad to say for my necro it was my manastone. but it changed the way i played and i didnt like it. 55555555551555555555155555555515555555551555555555 1 wasnt much fun as it was OPed. (5 being manastone 1 being lifetap)

so i sold it.

right now, i would say the blued two-handed hammer for my pally twink. before his DPS was sad, now its pwn-tastic and i have even done a few AE groups with its awesome proc.

when i was playing my war it was Axe of the Slayers. Allowed me to solo with a war, never could with any other weapon(s) i tried.

My best item is my haste cloak - but aside from increasing my dps, I don't think it really changed the way I play.

The only item I can think of for a monk that *drastically* changed the way I played were elder beads, but as we're not in velious and eye of zomm isn't classic here in regards to aggro - doesn't really matter I guess.

According to stats it's damage bonus is the same as 1 handers. Would be cool if it had the 2H bonus but in that case you might see more people using it. I'll probably hang on to it until I can afford a second obsidian shard, I'm still working on saving up for the first one. Still the shield is not a bad off-hand choice for a lowbie warrior, considering the price is anywhere from FREE to 25pp.
