Are you running wineq? A lot of the crashes I used to have were fixed with it.

Yes, after doing it I was able to log in with my rogue a few times, but now I'm back to being unable to.

EDIT: I disabled my firewall, and now the list of servers won't load at server select lol.

Ok, I am back again and building off my original post. Ironically I am typing this while waiting to log back in after zone crashing. So, there is a direct link between internet speed/quality and the ability to zone with no problem and the crashing. I am in a place right now where the net verys between fast and and slow. When it is fast (and i can test it with how well videos work on youtube or hulu), EQ zones almost problem free. When it starts to slow down however, EQ crashes about 50% of the time while zoning. It is also more likely to crash loading into a larger zone like BB, Gfay, or what have you, instead of Unrest or something. I just wanted to put that out there. I am not incrdibly up to speed on the inner working of bandwidth and what not (I am sure someone in here can chime in on that better than I) but there IS a direct link. Also, in response to above, the IP thing has to do with when you are booted, the game still recognizes you as in there....sort of like going LD. So it will take roughly 5 minutes for it to clear and you should be able to log back in.

I don't know if it is a coincidence but I have been crashing while zoning/logging in FAR more since the server reset several days ago, at least once a day.

Before that, I was crashing maybe once every two weeks.

*edit* Today, 3 crashes while logging into EC in under an hour, after months of very few crashes at all.

EC wont load up on any character for me, was booted from world in that zone about 30 minutes ago. Since I've tried logging in on different accounts...so far only one character that I have which is outside of EC logged in without issue.

Same for me, seems the only zone i have issues with is EC, loading in from WC, Nro, Nek, and even logging into game. Will freeze and have to be forced shut down. All other zones no issue.

I hang around 50% zoning into EC. Happens a lot in many other zones as well, but no other has been as bad as EC.

Same here as the above poster, I also noticed that no internet browser windows load up while in the process of attempting to load up a zone after crashing.

Crashed well over 100 times, took away the fun and leveling, really had given up. Went to another servers and made friends. Don't see or miss anything there anymore.

This is the only server of all EQEmu's servers that zone crashed.

First of all I play on red.
Since about 36 hours I time out almost every time i zone. Its like loading....loading and nothing happens.
The when I try to logg in the same thing happens at login after serverscreen and after char select.
Never had this issue before.
I live in Sweden though. But I've up until now never gone LD much eventhough its oversea.
If i dont zone I can play forever.

Gotten worse for me. Leveled my char 1-54 on my Indonesian wifi connection then went home for a month. Got back about a week ago, game has been unplayable since due to taking 1 hr+ to log in and inability to zone. Tried changing locations: issue became even more severe.

Good to hear I'm not alone.. but I guess I should find somethin else to do.
