I really dont think the majority of long time mmo players ever got banned, and im also curious why he got banned in wow.

Its very easy to get a ban from any number of games / servers for tiny teeny things to really big things.

After I quit WoW i started getting lots of emails about my account being investigated becasue it was comprimised. Ever since Blizzard went to the battle.net login with emails instead of usernames account comprimising became alot easier and to often. Worse thing they ever done.

After the hack I got all my shit back and restored. Still wasnt playing, account got comprimised AGAIN even after changing info. Said fuck it the hacker can have the account lol havnt touched it since.

GMs in new MMOs will ban anyone for anything. Most of the time when two parties have an incident it's a race to see who can bait the other person into saying something mildly offensive and then /reporting them.
