what has changed about p99?

Hey everyone,

I'm relatively new to this server (couple of months), and consequently, I don't know a whole lot about its history. I keep reading posts along the lines of "...TMO, the guild that survived the war" and "the server is a more peaceful place now."

What the heck happened in the past that was so bad? I know there was some sort of cheating and griefing on the red server, but what happened on the blue server? Was it just endgame raid guilds fighting over loot mobs?
