Do Melee classes suck?

I can't comment on pvp on this server, But I can comment on being a mele in pvp since my whole pvp career on SZ and Zek I was a mele. 1st was a barbarian warrior loved pvp just took a while to get resist to where they needed to be. Also kick, bash, ect will interupt most casters (cant say for certian on this server) my 2nd mele was a Iskar SK loved him also, again the bash, and mele was huge.

I would not be afraid to be a mele on a pvp server.

Xping a melee was insane, now with the xp boost it's a zillion times easier. That said you couldn't pay me to play rogue or warrior.

Mele will level slow if there are no groups I am going to assume one of the things that isnt a ton of is tanks. and when you get to raid level I am sure there are a lot of warr items that rot. With that being said once you make it to where you can level I am sure the gear will come quicker then lets say a pallie or a SK or another class simply cause the % of warr you have to share with will be low.

Ok cool. I sold a level 85 DK so I'm a fan of tanking/dps, no matter how slow. I'm trying to find those old classic guides from a site. I remember it saying to put Points in Dex because classic raiding doesn't have as much Dex items. This site was up last year but I can't find it

With PL getting to 40 isn't hard, after that though around 44/45 it becomes brutal without constant groupage or PLs.

Just make a halfling druid, server pop on halfling druids is diminishing and i would like to see that pop go up again. also if you get powerleveled to 40 dont worry about how hard 44+ might be considering you got powerleveled to 40.

Casters in Classic, Melees in Kunark, Melees in Velious, has been this way for 13 years, dont think its gonna change.
