There are 569 guards in Everquest.

Rivervale guards no longer drop only spears, they carry mainly rusty weapons.

specifically, the guards are only dropping rusty weapons. The guards I checked personally were wfp and efp. I also was told in ooc that grobb guards were the same now - only rusties.

Also - Seafuries are currently dropping 1-5pp and no gems. Last night this was not the case. We also had 1 cyclops toes drop.

Are these loot nerfs a feature or a bug?

I killed the following guards: Jendl, Mizraen and Ledshin, all of which dropped rusty short swords.

i can concur .. i killed WFP guards today, only rusty swords BUT one of them dropped a rusty sword and a finesteel greatstaff ... so it seems only the swords are bugged?
