Being in Nihilum was just EQ PVE all over again. I was really excited to go raid Nagafen for the first time in years only to be shocked when he was dead before I could even cast a spell and being looted. I wasn't feared? How come no one was dying from AE's? I was confused.

Confused only because you're a complete retard. Where were you the 30 minutes before that he was AEing? Where were you when we had no idea what was going on with Nagafen in vent? Where were you when we couldn't get a GM to reset it so we just said fuck it and killed it so we didn't waste the time of 20+ people? Where were you the fucking 20+ minutes it took to actually down Nagafen? Never got a chance to cast a spell in over 20 minutes? Oh that's right, you had no idea what was going on because you're one of the worst players to ever install this game. And where were you last night when we killed Naggy.... oh yeah, lol.

I was then excited to go kill Phinny again, that was a real exciting balls to the wall encounter back in 1999, how are we going to handle all of those CHing seahorses guys??? 5 mintues later he's solo pulled and dead via pets, while we all sit there afk waiting to collect loots, (pets > * on p99 and since pet aggro is fucked you can't do any DPS @ all to mobs or else you'll peel the mob off the pets).

So you're angry because people have developed strats since 1999 that aren't completely retarded? Or is training adds away before engaging a raid boss an exploit now? Sorry, we should have done it the "classic way" and wiped for hours to protect your immersion.

In short, I'm glad I left Nihilum because it's not a PVP guild, it's a PVE guild, and a boring one at that. Nihilum always tried to avoid PVP battles whenever possible. The great Nagafen strat when Holocaust wtfpwned Nihilum a week ago, was to either train Holocaust so they wipe, or simply log off and let Holocaust give up o Nagafen so we could log in after and collect our loot. That wasn't what I joined this server for, to just go /afk and collect loot and then post screenshots and call it "winning." Ya, there were a bunch of dicks in holocaust, but at least they had balls and came to actually PVP.

tl:dr: nihilum pve guild, server pvp, came to pvp not pve do not care anymore about nihilum

We PvPed Holocaust all day with 1/3 the number until they exploit killed Nagafen and left. We're a PvE guild because we can't oust 30 people with our 12? Get the fuck out.

So much mad, and so much lies. Dude, why are you lying about nagafen the fucking dev log is posted which shows it was a13 minute fight and shows all the damage dealt, (hint it all came from pets). So I don't know why you need to lie about it, prolly cuz ur mad and stuff. Vent was completely silent, and almost no strategy was discussed.

I sent a tell to Troriste asking him what the fuck should I be doing since I was kind of shocked that we had a bunch of mid level 30's, I was like level 41 at the time, and like maybe two clerics, but yet no strat. I mean, I've done Nagafen countless times before but never with mid level 30's and two clerics. Of course, it became pretty clear 13 minutes later why no strat was discussed, because this wasn't going to be a fight at all, just a collect the loot fest. I think the whole process from zone in to FG's to distributing Nagafen loot maybe took 45 min total?

Not angry about pull strats, all I was trying to say is I joined thinking it would be fun to relive the raids of all not realizing how gimp EQ Classic PVE is today with all the knowledge out there. Lack of fun doesn't equal anger.

As far as the PVP stuff is concerned, all I can do is just lol. When Nihilum got involved in PVP vs Holocaust on a large scale it usually involved Troriste yelling lol worthy things over root, "im roooooted im rooooooted," a lot of chaos, a lot of Reika bitching about how everyone fucking sucks in the guild, Billy saying something about how we need to get our asses handed to us in order to learn how to play (Billy might be my favorite EQ player of all time), and a whole lot of silence. Yes, silence. There was little to no actual strategy discussion in Vent about PVP, which is why it's no surprised that in guild vs guild PVP nihilum got owned by Holocaust. Again, PVP strategy on a guild to guild scale for Nihilum involved basically running to the nearest zone line and plugging, waiting to collect the PVE loot later. Oh, and training a bunch of mobs on people, something Mezz seemed to try again today but forgot that if you're going to train a group with your charm mob, it's prolly best to not back him off a hundred times a minute before you actually train, gives people a chance to actually like gate.

In regard to your comment about sucking at PVE and shit, I think it's impossible for anyone to suck at PVE in this game, but I did play EQ Live through the end of HoT (yes EQ still makes expansions wtf) in Machin-Shin (some top guild or some shit) and the entry raids there are 1000x more complex than anything in EQ Classic,

In closing, you sound really mad bro you should look into that, I was pretty mad too but then I finally started getting the hang of this whole PVP culture thing and now not so mad anymore, you should try it to bro.
