This keeps happening to me and I have done nothing at all to the file! I can't be bothered to reinstall it again [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

No one can help you without knowing which file is being affected.

Four things come to mind if this keeps happening to you:

1. When you have a fresh copy of EQ, take a copy of the file that gets affected and save it in a different folder, Backup if you will.
2. Have you installed the updates to EQ, and if you have did you do it correctly? If this happens every time you update your files this may be a sign that you did not install the updates right.
3. How are you updating your EQ files? Are you using the custom launcher or are you manually installing the files?
4. What Anti-Virus program are you running and is it possible that it is deleting or changing the file because it thinks it is infected?

As I said before, cannot help you if we do not know which file is "corrupted".

I am guessing it is the exe. and I have been playing it fine the past two days so the install is fine and I did it manually, also I run no anti-virus. I just came to play it today and got that message.

This will happen if dsetup.dll has been modified. Try downloading the latest eqchanges again. If it continues to happen make sure you don't have any programs running that actively scan files, processes, or memory (anti viruses).
