I've actually submitted more bugs and actually attempted to address issues I knew would be "huge" on release *cough* recharging cheap items to exploit leveling, before the server even launched....... What happened in the past with hacking, alot of it is heresay you are thriving off someones "Pass a Secret" synopsis...

Pretty sure they can tell if the shit I am submitting benefits the community in its entirety or its looking out for "Kringe"... aka half your worthless posts..

Continue on now... But pause for 2 minutes and say this to yourself.... Right now big boys are having a "Grown up conversation", should I chime in?

Remember, Grown ups are Talking right now...

Lovely continues to turn threads into flame wars, or troll players to rally against staff. Tries to smear player who submits bugs before having the advantage of using them or while playing beta with no intention of abusing in classic.

Etc etc etc

We think nothing of you in the long run man, just another lvl 50 wizard who is running out of exploits that made him "good". Have fun drawing attention to yourself while you have bugs to abuse first then report later. The classic timeline and resolution of bugs will be your down fall.

Grown ups? Eh, yeah in a sense of the word but more like people trying to improve the community are talking. RNF and your stupid pvp blog are -------> that way.

Default anyway

I'll try to take more time and read everything on the forums sometime, but I just wanted to throw my opinion out there (that I'd really like a rallos zek emulation server someday). I'm aware my opinion as a new person around here isn't worth two cents.

Someone jacked my old school name Ever from '99 unfortunately, so I can't make a toon with that name hehe Perhaps I shoulda made the toon before posting here as I have a suspicion [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Anyway, I'm gonna probably roll a mage today or tomorrow. I'll be playing under the name Sethak for those that want to talk to me. peace

Just a fair warning,

You will have your work cut out for you in pvp as a Mage, however pve should be pretty easy for you.

Your thread was entertaining. I agree with many of your points.

Things I wholeheartedly endorse:

1) Faction mobs MUST ASSIST players. This added such an enormous level of immersion and fun that it is pretty much impossible to explain to someone that has never done it.

2) Item loot in PvP. There must be consequences and risk/reward for PvP or else we are simply no better than the vomitous carebear PvP that has existed since the mutant offsprings of Everquest (always excepting Shadowbane and Darkfall).

That said, there are at least three things that I somewhat disagree with:

1) A 4 level range in PvP only encourages exploitation through out-of-range casters, healers, buffers, and interferers. Sullon Zek had what was undoubtedly the greatest system ever devised to remedy this: if someone was on the other team, you could attack them... in every way that the game itself allows.

2) Charm and Fear are part of the game. If they are in the game, they should be usable against players, just as it was in Classic. Charm is abusable, but Fear should be something that you run the risk of if attacking or being attacked by a class that is lucky and powerful enough to utilize it in PvP.

3) Cliky items should be rechargeable and usable in PvP. They generally reproduce spell effects that most classes have. And if not, they are obtainable by everyone and thus are not overpowered in PvP. For instance, Golem Wands merely level the playing field by either eliminating buffs or conversely save you from enemy spells. The problem arises when you eliminate these items for players that never had the chance to utilize them, creating an item gap between intense and casual gamers.

Again, you are picking and choosing your "Classic" mechanics which makes you at least as complicit as the developers here in customizing their own server to whatever strange advantage we can imagine. The difference is that at least they put in the work for it. A very easy and general rule to follow is this: if it increases player options and/or consequences, it should be in the game. If it limits player options and/or consequences, it should not be in the game.

I can never take anything serious from a guy that's been cheating and hacking in an MMO. Even worse an EMU..

On a side note: CAN WE GET PLANES SOON PLEZ?

item loot is rediculous. Welcome to every person in the game fighting naked and every person being a caster class the doesnt NEED armor. Melee life...Get attacked and hope to god u can take off all your armor/weapons before u die. Doesnt that sound like fun.... On p99red we can at least attempt to fight, and get our asses handed to us as it is.
