Movies from the US are so bad these days. I'd say that there are around 10 good "foreign" movies for every good movie that's released in the US currently.

US did however shine in the movie making department like 10-40 years ago though.

This is so true. American movies are the same garbage and have been for a long time. I think there are like 4-5 story lines, all regurgitated with different twists, characters and plots to make them brand new again!
