Quest Issue: Kelethin Newbie Ranger Turn in Note does not give faction or Tunic

NPC: Maesyn Trueshot

Newbie note says to give to Maesyn Trueshot. When I give the item to Maesyn Trueshot I do not receive a newbie tunic or any faction hits

I created a wood elf ranger. Started in Kelethin.

Turned my note in to Maesyn Trueshot and received a tunic, faction, and exp.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I'll try it again this evening to verify if it's working now or not. I noticed this on both project1999 and Red99 beta. If I can find additional information I'll let you know, if it is working I'll try to figure out what I did differently at the time of the bug.

Tried with 4 different wood elf rangers, turning in the note to maesyn is not giving xp or faction or a newbie tunic.

I had this about two weeks ago on my ranger as well. Figured it was an apt way to start the class off.

Well that is interesting. Works fine on the development server.

So, as far as I can tell:

Fixed, pending update.
