Default EQ install

Not sure what my problem is but i've had display dropping issues randomly in game and i'm tired of getting killed so I decided i'd just try a fresh install. I've played for the last year and the display d/c have only happened more recently. I've updated graphics drivers etc.

I cannot however bypass the patching process when starting after install. I'm changinging the target location of the shortcut to include patchme and entered the new info into the eqhost.txt file and saved.

Help please i'd love to be in sol B royals.

Are you putting the entire path before patchme in quotes and making sure the shortcut is actually to the right .exe? There's a few with the same icon. Has to be eqgame.
