After an hour or so of playing I'm glad to report that this game is just as difficult as I remember earlier The Hell was. There's now maybe 50 classes and a feat and skill system to pick from and ridiculous custom items. Crafting, socketing, charms, enchantments, an item stash, ability to run, improved (harder) monster AI, alt to show items and new quests.

After ten or so hours across a few evenings with above game my hero is level 21 and I've gotten to dungeon level 9 of 35 I think on the easiest difficulty of which there are six. My review is that it's better than Diablo 2 full stop.

I already do enough starship engineering because I drive a GM car, you see. Roll a multi player toon for TH4 if the idea of Hamachi or similar for up to 4 players at a time entices you. Did I mention the game is difficult? Expect to reroll a couple or few times before you find something that you really like. Also there are like thousands(?) of uniques that can enable entire builds. Also there are plasma rifles in the game data which are probably the max tier pistoleer weapon type. Think about that.
