Its not a monopoly, there have been people who have come and sold their service multiple times and leave because the pay is shite (Edit the camp is also equal opportunity to take it) and people make massive fake narratives to defame people who camp it angry at the camp in general (38+ hour average between pops is brutal)

Anyone can camp their own map and I will help them do it against my own self interest, I aim to make it as easy as possible and want people to feel treated fairly.

I have helped countless number of people through TOD's messaging letting them know when the camp is open, held their spot when they DC for multiple hours, go raid or dont see it up and message them in game / on discord

In the current campers case #1 DC'd for at least 2 hours still gave them back their #1 spot.

Weird list circumventing post is a complete load of horse shite but eh can throw whatever slander / defamation you want up here with 0 proof and run with it.
I leave the camp after every successful camp, I know you cant post a single example (post time / date) where I have not with a shred of proof. I can pull logs of the time in question and me logging off. (unless its multiple years old, had a PC die )

Wish you gents well honestly its kind of sad with the BS narratives. I assure you if you want to camp this I will make it as easy as I can and you wont be in the camp 75 hours never knowing where the window is if know it (10x worse)

Trying to warp words to your definition is just poor understanding.

Gloomlord hides behind anonymity like a coward, flaming, trolling, sockpuppeting and ragebaiting with words they dont understand.

If anyone has any legitimate claims with proof I welcome them but please leave your in game name because at this point I think the majority of spam responses are just gloom sockpuppeting.

Please respond to the above and stop spinning bullshit stories without proof (Time and date) because I know it doesn't exist. (Just gonna keep posting this one until the bullshit accusations and monopowy statements stop).

I agree with the sentiment. I am just saying I have gone back and forth with many posters over the years, and Gloomlord is one of the worst offenders when it comes to spamming a thread. That is why like 500 of his posts are exclusively trolling/attacking me.

There are only one or two posters who were worse. Cyxthryth comes to mind. His entire 400ish posts are basically contained in one thread.

If Gloomlord thinks you are bad, you cannot change his mind. You are a cartoon villian, and must be incorrect. He will never admit he using the word "monopolize" incorrectly, because you are the "monopoly" villian. Therefore, you must be maliciously "monopolzing" the camp. Nothing short of a full confession and apology will do for Gloomlord.

See? Gloomlord will never admit he doesn't understand what "monopoly" means. His incorrect definition will always be how he frames the discussion.

That is why a back and forth will not work. Gloomlord will never agree on the correct definition of "monopoly", and all of his arguments flow from this incorrect definition. You can't logically persuade someone that 1 + 1 = 2 when they are using a random mathematical rule set that allows 1 + 1 = 52.

It's literally a seized means of production and exclusion if you (or an associate) are always at the camp. Nobody else gets a chance, since we have shitty server rules where 1 person is allowed to hold a camp for however long they want and hand it off to whoever they want.

It's in your self interest. When you say "camp their own map", what you mean is "I don't care if they sit there the whole time, if they pay me".

When have you ever "helped" someone without them paying you or without you wanting to get something out of them in return, and what percentage of time? And no, it doesn't count if you know you will be gone at a certain time. Someone else being there directly benefits you, because it keeps the timer on the expected schedule.

Telling other people the timer is not something you're doing out of the goodness of your heart. You're doing that so people will be around at the correct time to loot the map, after they've paid you for loot rights.

You claim that the camp "is not worth it". So why have you constantly been there for over a year? The camp IS worth it for you, or else you wouldn't be there.

If you actually cared about the integrity of the game, and if you had something worthwhile to do with your life, then you would never be there, aside from when you need the map for one of your characters. Stormfeather does not despawn. Whenever he is up, any tracker in the zone can quickly see, and someone who needs the map would go kill it. Your actions are not adding anything beneficial to the game. You aren't helping. You're profiteering.
