I heard this too

So everyone agrees this was all a coverup to the largest RMT in p99 history? Is that what this is saying and I was always right

I definitely think it's possible. I'd like to think people really are super rad sometimes and give away elite items to players, but based on how hyper competitive p99/eq is, your theory actually sounds much more likely.

I never had a problem with RMT. I suppose it would make people even more greedy with camps that's why its bad?
There's the legality of it but also if people are already mega sweatlords about in game money, if RMT became authorized there's a lot more camps that would never be open again.

Did your source mention a cocaine-fueled Yacht party?

Back in the day, playing EQMac, there was someone who claimed to be privy to these events.

Strangely, almost 10 years later, I ran into someone on p99 Green that corroborated the stories, and wondered how I knew about it.

I can’t believe I was so right about this it’s like I read it years ago and have been thinking about it since and now I finally come back to game and say it and it’s all true it’s crazy and really makes me wonder what other stuff in life I was always right about

I used to manage an internet cafe in Seoul. There were always people running the p99 boxes to buy wons. We would sticky a note about who the character was etc. If they wanted their tokens they could, you know, totally fuck up.

But, point is the currency exchange in the 2010's was good enough that playing the p99 boxes hard was a good way to earn wons. The only reason there are open camps is because, duh, Americans aren't playing.

There's no wons in that.
