Although the CB->Unrest->Mistmoore is such a common track to level. I find it quite boring and Qeynos leveling to be far more enjoyable. Less 6 man groups but lots of duo, trios possible.

I personally find smaller group content to be best for leveling in terms of fun.

Another great place to level is the warrens and stone burnt mountains. Had a trio at the kobolds in stoneburnt it was a blast.

Gnoll fangs has always seemed better to me the CB belts.

For me, doing the gnoll fang quest was a non-negotiable. Even if they are nerfed, it's still one of the funnest things to do in Everquest. Also you get moonstones and you take those to another NPC for a little more EXP. This along with living in Blackburrow made it EZ to zoom to level 15 or so then head to Unrest.

I'm trying out CB Belts at the moment, Crushbone and the Kelethin Bank are closer than Blackburrow and Qeynos Bank. Plus there is a better chance to get buffs from a higher level player in GFAY vs Qeynos hills for example. Do you do one of the quests, or both? if so, why?

I miss Filbus et al where such sentiments would likely be uploaded in the form of a semi good semi terrible rap.

I'm team CB Belts mostly because Kelethin is peak EQ starting zone, crushbone is the most iconic newbie zone, and Qeynos to the west is the most desolate baron wasteland that you could delete from the game and it would impact nothing.
Maybe in nostalgia points but Qeynos Hills / Blackburrow / Karanas absolutely shit on it to the bank.

Rabid animal pelts, gnoll fangs, bandit sashes, lightstones can aggressively get you into the late teens.

Then you just walk over the EK for like, the best leveling to 25 or 26 in the game, to SK for an easy trip to like 35+ especially if you're a druid or a wizard for gating to qeynos to hand scrolls in.

Unrest and Mistmoore are dope if you have someone powerleveling you and the zone to yourself, but soloing there is cancer and grouping in those places is kinda shit unless you again basically have the entire zone to yourselves.

If you're camping main room and there's someone in the back room, you might as well leave, you're getting like 10 mobs every 22 minutes with xp split across 6 people, it's really not that good.

The time you waste with dealing with trains and corpse runs simply isn't worth it, just go to EK, chill the fuck out on the side of a mountain, and chain pull things to your hearts content.

Plus grab a sewing kit, I make about 1k plat every time I level a character through there from the crag spiders.

And WK had a lot of willowisps added to it a few patches ago. So even if NK wisps are actively being farmed, don't have to take the boat to Erud's Xing anymore.

Oh snap I actually didn't know that, some 20-something shaman was chain murdering all the wisps near the gypsies so I camped out the other day, will have to take a little run to WK and see how the wisps are over there, tyty.
