I needed to wait for this latest patch to finish Tergon's Spellbook Quest (and consequently the Toko's Head quest). Most of the quests in Ak'Anon aren't particularly interesting. The two I enjoyed were the Tiny Skeletons and the aforementioned Tergon quests. Tiny Skeletons is an odd little quest. You are sent to NK to help with a research project. Apparently some Gnome Necromancer has unleashed an army of tiny little skeletons. It's a silly quest, and you have to run around NK chasing the tiniest little skeleton's you've ever seen. I legit think they are the smallest mobs in EQ. You get a 1 charge SOW boots for your efforts. The Tergon questline probably the most interesting in the zone. First, he has you go kill random Troll stomping around in Steamfont to prove your worth. His next chore involves retrieving his spellbook that he lent to his brother, who is a member of the caster guild in Freeport. So you travel all the way to Freeport, and start asking around, only to find out that his brother was captured by Orcs in Crushbone! Sure enough, he's stuck as a slave in Crushbone. He asks you to save him, and becomes annoyed that you are so focused on getting the spellbook rather than rescuing him (note, you can save him as well as part of the Shackle Keys quest, which I completed a while ago). He tells you the spellbook was stolen by the orc Prophet! After dispatching this advisor to the Emperor, bring the stolen spellbook to a happy Tergon, who doesn't once think to ask of the status of his brother. The next quest is a simple assassination mission of a former member of the guild who has decided to run off to be a pirate (don't tell him about the Iceclad gnomes). This is pretty simple, but the weird thing is the gnome in question drops a Dark Elf head. I am not sure if this is an error, or of the target was actually a dark elf spy!

This thread is awesome.
Teddee confirmed Phil Conners from Groundhog Day... living the same day ~100,000 years is the only reason someone would do this [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] Once you complete all quests... you have proven the name of the game EverQuest is fake news! He better get a title for this... or maybe some old school GM/guide gear... EVERYQUEST UPDATE!!!!!
NAJENA FINISHED!!!!! The Visiting Priestess There is only one quest in Najena, and it is an absolute gem (or nightmare, at least by difficulty). This one is deep in lore. Using his army of hyperintelligent and mighty Goblins and Ogres, Rallos Zek decided he was going to conquer the elemental planes during the Elder Age. He was defeated, and the Ogres were cursed with stupidity. The MegaGoblins, also known as the Ankexfen, were genocided entirely, then reborn as the 4 inferior goblin races (Aqua Goblins, Fire Goblins, Ice Goblins, and I guess Slime Goblins). The staff of Ankexfen, a mighty weapon, was separated into 4 smaller less powerful weapons. You are challenged to gather these staves by a Dark Elf priestess on vacation to Najena. This is where this quest becomes a nightmare. The Fire, Water, and Ice staves are kind of rare, but no more than most items in the game. The Slime Crystal Staff, however, has been stolen from the Slime Goblins of Runnyeye, and is in the possession of one of the rarest mobs in the game, King Xorbb the Beholder. I am not exaggerating when I say that the Slime Crystal Staff might be the rarest still dropping item in the game outside of raid content. I spent weeks trying to get. Luckily, Ekco took pity on me and he got one to drop. Thank you a ton for that Ekco. After retrieving the staves, the priestess rewards you with a weird scroll of Goblin skin. After doing a little research in Neriak, you find out that the scroll was part of a ritual to imbue an Adamantium Weapon with the soul of a member of a long destroyed house of Neriak. To complete said ritual, you need to find a living member of this destroyed house. You find a fallen noble hiding amongst the vampires. Kill her, and take her blood. Finally, you are ready for the ritual. You hand the blood to the ritual master in Neriak Commons who summons the soul of the fallen noble into the blue flame of his forge. You place the scroll into the fire. Immediately, the tortured soul in turned into a your Blued Two-Handed Hammer, fading away into hateful tortured euphoria.
