Does anyone remember the Asian guilds during classic?

They would take the silliest names and in general, not give a fuck about chaos events wherever they went. Over time they all got banned.

Dragons of Asia was a big one on Quellious. But these were not normal players. Of course, what's normal? Exactly. Thre isn't any normal.

I miss the circus days, and part of that was the international player base. My best guild leader was this rich guy from Pakistan who I think just did a shitton of meth. Biffins, was his name I believe.
The first raid guild I join was a Korean guild on the Prexus server called "Souls of Mir". It was great because I'd get home from school at like 4pm and the raid was already started and clearing trash. Raid would wrap up around 8-9pm and i'd get a good night's sleep before school the next day. And I was popular in the guild cuz I was the crazy american.

Odd response to put my name in caps as though it's a ban evasion account like yours. Never been banned and my join date was 7 years ago.

What ban are you on now? Like 3 or 4? Maybe 5?

And got all pissy at the staff and said you were never coming back, yet here you are crawling back to the server lol

Intentionally telling people incorrect respawn times for the glacier bear placeholders in everfrost for totemic helm. They'd show up, not see anything, and think "shucks somebody else must have gotten it".

Also training people in dreadlands by getting a bunch of mobs and then running to KC really high in the air using lev with the mobs trailing, and nobody who got trained had any idea who did it. It's like training with invis, without the risk of somebody having see invis on.

Prior to eq I came from playing UO, which was the ultimate playground for a griefer 13 year old prior to the felucia \ trammel split, but in EQ you had to get more creative.

again, i literally have no clue what youre talking about
youve been harassing me for months, and i have zero clue who you are, but frequently see you going from thread to thread harassing other people too.

ive legitimately never been banned from p99 or even had a warning. ive actually never even gotten into a fight with another player on this game and mostly have had positive experiences [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

unfortunately i dont even really play p99 anymore, but love to discuss everquest with people

ill prob log in for the xmas bonus and not again until july 4th [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

you have this weird obsession that im someone im not and im going around and getting banned and causing all this trouble for people and in reality im almost always logged into WoW

[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

whatever enemy you think you have, or whoever wronged you, they aren't me and i would genuinely appreciate it if you left me alone. i dont follow you from thread to thread harassing you even though youre extremely obnoxious and annoying. please return that favor in kind.

My friend group is the reason they added a box to the game asking if you are sure you want to drop an item on the ground. We would make gnomes and ask to see an item in trade window etc. Usually an item someone was wearing, that way when we saw it disappear from being equipped on them, we knew they had it on their cursor and were about to open trade with us and then we would move, and when the item dropped to the ground, we would pick it up and steal it. Remember you could also disarm players in duels and steal their weapon after it fell to the ground. Got an executioner axe this way back when they were a big deal.

I remember one of my friends binding someone we didn't like to the Plane of Hate during a huge pull, and the person had no idea. The next day he cast gate, ended up in PoHate and got stuck in an insane death loop, lost a ton of levels, never saw him again etc.

I feel like trains were pretty standard / classic. On P99 getting intentionally trained is pretty rare. On live getting trained was a normal part of the game for a multitude of reasons, but often times, for fun. I remember if I died because a guard was dead, I would create a level 1 character, and then pull all the gate guards to the person killing said guard so they would die etc.

I remember realizing elves are KOS in the evil part of Ak Anon, and luring elves there after they asked for directions to a specific location, and then offering to pull their corpse for them. After they consented me I would just steal all of their items.

And no, I'm nothing like this as an adult. People on EQ actually say they feel guilty because I don't loot much or even roll on coveted items. I was just an evil ass little kid, but it was made way worse because my friends and I fed off of each other's energy.

I could actually name a lot of other messed up things I did over the years, but I think people forget that people weren't as friendly on EQ in 1999-2003'ish. The game actually felt more like PVP than modern WoW does since groups were constantly fighting over content. I don't remember high level characters doing drive-by buffs, or giving lowbies free items etc. like they do on P99. I think the more hostile environment made us more callous towards other players because odds are most of us had been regularly trained, KS'd, player hated on etc.
I dont suppose you expect anyone to believe t hat, do you? I'm sure you guys probably exploited it. But it is almost a certainty you weren't the first to do so. It was probably a common issue
