twinking was a problem in classic, i remember people being ostracized and made fun of in 1999 on fennin ro for having gear outside their level range and called ebayers

My friend got called an ebayer in 2000 because he had FBSS, 2x Lamentation and full crafted on his level 38 warrior

My Velious experience (especially Kael raids etc) was mostly during the start of Luclin back in the day. I remember going to one with the raid window and being the only shaman on it having to buff everyone.

Time ticked to the next expansion faster than I'd have liked.

The only raid loot I recall ever seeing sold for twinking on my live server was the blade of carnage, otherwise the most expensive gear you could buy was a fungi tunic. Custom velious helms were an extremely rare sighting (probably saw less than 5 myself) and that was when I left well into luclin launch before pop

And that's stuff you can't actually fix, only way to make a emu actually classic is to find 1200 people that have never played before, stick them on island somewhere and just give them access to like a binder with some random info from castersrealm/ allahakazam and tell em to figure it the fuck out

i'd rather watch that as a tv show than try to theory craft some way to make bitter vets not be shitty
