isnt it funny that pro vax ppl and anti vax ppl both think the other side is totally insane?

on one side they think how could you not want this bc its life saving medicine
and on the other side they think how could you ever take this bc its a detriment to you and is poison.

it seems the real difference of opinion here is as simple as asking them

Nothing has changed. People whined about the Polio Vaccine back then too.

Few Anti-Vaxxers will be about to complain and most will die off.

Anti-Vaxxers just made it political like they did with Trans kids because their GOP politicians are trying to re-energize their Christian base.

Not going to name names. Butt most pppl just aren't getting worked up over covid or the covid vaxx and that is actually perfectly fine and normal for the majority.

Life is like this. Generations get old, weak, vulnerable and die. You can't force 99 million people to protect 1 person who through circumstances or choices made in life will die in less than 5 years anyway. Whether it's from covid or not just doesn't really matter in the grand scheme.

This is what drives me crazy about covid the most; everyone suddenly began acting like other contagious diseases that are also dangerous for immunocompromised people to catch don't exist, and covid is somehow magically different in a way that justifies completely upending society for as long as it takes to achieve some unspecified, vague, utopian goal.

Nobody talked about wearing masks to the grocery store before covid existed. Literally not a single person on earth. Even during particularly bad flu seasons, I literally never saw a single person wearing a mask at the grocery store. I had seen actual cancer patients clearly on active chemo not wearing masks at the grocery store, many times. Then covid came along and short circuited something in the rational part of people's brains, and for many it seems permanent.
