As for the ammunition...well, everyone here acts like RMT leads to emulators being shut down. It's the donations that get them shut down. It's the copyright violations often found on the websites. It's not letting players have freedom to do as they wish, it's all about the bens the operator is getting. | |||

![]() By donations, I mean donations to keep the server running. If WR actually had microtransactions, then really that is one kind of RMT, more like the Farmville style than player to player RMT...I'd say it amounts to about the same thing as donating to keep the server running, but still a potential profit to the server operator.
Sony and most gaming companies really don't care what players do on emulated servers, it's when an emulator starts taking in money they get the lawyers out of the cage. They see the missed profits, even if it's only a dollar a month, and expect their cut...and since it is their intellectual property, they quickly want the whole pie. | ||
