8 years ago I went on record against a guy who was a "good friend" ever since high school and well beyond he talked about his attraction to young girls, we wanted to believe it was a dark sense of humor

then years later we found out he got caught with a girl at a local fair. a dectective showed up at my friend's place asking questions about this guy, so 4 of us went to the cops and gave a scathing character reference on record about the language this guy uses regarding young girls.

it probably wasn't necessary to get him convicted but it sure as hell made us feel better.

racism, sexism, bigotry etc are nothing compared to the abuse of those who cannot defend themselves.

those people are the lowest scum humanity has ever produced. I'd say that hitler is a better person than pedophiles, but he abused his niece.
