Snowfang Fetish (Elder Spearguard)
A common ranged item that dropped off of a rare non-caster spawn in Iceclad Ocean, seemingly absent from Project1999 as there are no entries on the wiki/forums or in auctions. Placeholder locs, item appearance, and other details below.

It drops off a Snowfang gnoll called 'elder spearman'. When you see him, he'll be carrying what looks like a Paw of Opolla in his left hand. He's not hard to kill, but certainly not easy. At 52 he conned green to me, but he has quite a fast regen, as he was not losing almost any health at all with Breath of Ro and Drifting Death stacked on him while he was snared/rooted. I was able to kill him by completely mana burning casting Starfire repeatedly, he dropped when I ran out of mana. I'm not sure how he spawns however, I was running through Iceclad and saw him at random, roaming in between the Gnoll camp and the Tower of Frozen Shadow.

Campin Lodi with my 56 ranger, saw 'elder spearguard' on track; never seen him before. He was right near one of the 2 gnoll huts. Conned light blue. He had one of those little doll totem thingys in his hand.
Figured i didnt want to take a chance on him being a shaman, so i loggen in my 58 monk (was was parked at SF camp grrr) ran over and started beatin on him. He conned green to me at 58 and he had a TON of hp and/or high regeneration. It was a long fight (got 2 Thunderkicks in). The most he hit for was 80 and he cast no spells.

named mob pops in a static spiritguard spot near in between the tower and the huts, 2 drops so far have been a so-so spear that procs a 81dd (forget the name offhand) and today he dropped a Snowfang Fetish all/all range/secondary slot item 4 wis 10 sv cold. i havent camped him long enough to tell if the spiritguard standing in his spot is his placeholder or if he is on a timer, killed one PH and the second pop was him, then 8 ph's later and nothing :/ Anyway, have a good one [You must be logged in to view images.
