Q: Can we camp raid mobs?
A: If you choose to lay a claim to an unspawned raid npc, your raid must be at the npc's spawn point with sufficient force. (within aggro range of the npc when it spawns, with at least a 15 member raid party). e.g. (inside Nagafen's Lair) This is the ONLY way claims of unspawned raid targets will be respected.
That is establishing a BARE MINIMUM. "Sufficient force" is the operative word you dumbshit.

No wonder you were a terrible guide, prolly took people 30minutes to finally get around to english you can comprehend.

No one ever said it wasn't applicable. It is still a valid rule. The discussion was about the two guilds agreeing to fairly compete solely based on FTE, and not poopsocking in the future. Refer to Jeremy's thread in server chat for the discussion on making a case for changing the rule.
That was actually Tiggles' thread, the Proposed Changes ... thread. Here is a link: http://www.project1999.org/forums/sh...ad.php?t=44277

I think Uthgaard's insinuations in the posted log are dead-on.

You guys don't WANT to stop poopsocking.

Sure, you might SAY you do because you SAY have better ways to spend your Friday nights... but if you did, you would go do those things.

You WANT that dragon loot at all costs. And if that means poopsocking to secure it, you will. After all, if you WANTED to stop poopsocking, people in your guilds would stop logging in. Or they'd find another guild. Or realize how much of their lives they are wasting away on pixels, burn out, and move on.

But the simple matter of the fact is no one is pointing a gun to their heads telling them to poopsock in Trak's lair.

They absolutely need to have that loot. So they will do what it takes to get it. They will muster every advantage they can get. If they can't out-mobilize, they make sure they start closer to the spawn in question. If they can't outgun another guild, they mass-invite to ensure they have better numbers. If they can't beat the other guild to the raid target, they poopsock. If they can't do that, they have the rules changed to give themselves a more even playing field.

Holy shit, if you guys applied that much time and energy into solving world famine, Ethiopia would be full of fatties! :P

The only way to win is not to play.

Why would TMO want to stop doing something if they are winning?

Its like 4/5 for TMO atm. Changing the rules to keep, as Kinswat wants, everyone out of lair and behind the jugg door, is just trying to get TR advantage in a situation its losing.

Its typical crap, saw it on VZ/TZ non-stop. You create rules, when you start losing you look for ways around looks / shovel bullshit, then try to change to regain advantage.

Actually, it would be "Just for you, like Yoda I speak." But i digress.

You were arguing with Zereh, which puts you in an adversarial role to her stance of TR not having sufficient raid force. In that role, you are advocating that 15 is sufficient. Then you bolded both the part about "sufficient force" and "15 minimum" which does not help to clarify wtf your trying to refer to bolding...

Stay ESL sir. Just cause you can talk to some of the 80% of the US population that is brain dead, doesnt mean you win with me.

Yendor, I usually respect your opinion but you don't get what's going on here.

The inference is that we should suggest a rotation- a rotation is nothing but detrimental to us because of;

A) We have less keys than TR
B) TR has been consistently losing Trakanon.

It's not about us trying to be dicks. We don't want the same shit that is happening with Trakanon to happen with VP. If we cave and make some sort of deal with TR to split Trakanon, we get keys at the same rate they do- and they have _more_keys_than_us_

Doesn't really sound like an amicable situation does it?

TR never even considered doing rotations until we started cockslapping them- When we did, they started to have a change of heart. "I don't understand why we feel we need to have all the mobs and not let anyone else get any"

They never admitted these feelings publicly, because it would make them look like the inferior guild.

I'll tell you right now. I'm not going to bow to them so they feel superior. They would've never considered a rotation outside of losing a boatload of Trakanons with no end in sight. This situation has nothing to do with us not trying to make the server a better place to be, and everything to do with TR scraping and clawing to keep their position as #1 on the server.

No, this situation has to do with a bunch of little whiny bitches grasping at straws to try to keep their flawed idea of being the dominant force on this server consistently, alive.

If you want to feel superior TR, _be_ superior. Is it that hard?
