He ain’t gonna reply to you man. Why is it only you he chooses to ignore? I dunno but it’s pretty damn funny. He’ll reply to my random GiFs but not you.

Sure but that's just talking past people at that point and isn't conducive to the point--every group is better with an outside character doing things for them. I understand it's not _literally_ the same thing but this essentially saying that having a squadron of people outside of your group assist you is fair game, and that's obviously not the intent of the conversation.

The line has to be drawn on how much assistance the group can be offered, and in my version of the conversation, it's "none", because no other version of that conversation is that interesting. Like yeah dude my group of 4 wizards is fuckin dope, we have a pocket enchanter give us all C2, a pocket druid giving us POTG, a pocket paladin tank for us, and a pocket cleric to heal and rez us.

The issue is people are trying to claim a Shaman/Necro/Mage/Enchanter group would need a pocket cleric to operate. This is 100% not the case, nor have I ever made such a claim.

Shaman/Necro/Mage/Enchanter would tear through content very efficiently without the need for CH. The Necro is able to Res, the Necro/Shaman can heal, and the Shaman/Enchanter can slow to reduce damage.

I simply mentioned the possibility of a pocket cleric because we are assuming the players are experienced, and a lot of experienced players have a pocket cleric due to their ease of creation. Taking pocket clerics off the table doesn't change the efficacy of a Shaman/Necro/Mage/Enchanter group. It simply enhances it if that is something you want to explore.

It also doesn't move any goal posts, since OP didn't say you couldn't bring one. I am not afraid to talk about common facts of the game, such as pocket clerics and their common use.

I tried to engage with him when he started posting, but he has shown himself to be a troll fairly early on.

C'mon, there's no way you even read them haha. The dude uses sub-parenthesis and has copy-pasted the same thing for like 150 pages, there's really not a lot of content in them to even agree or disagree with, way too strong of magnetaress vibes or whatever their name is.

Why does your post seem to imply that you believe that I am or should be "painted" as any particular thing? DSM attempted to move the goalposts by bringing a 5th "pocket" character into his "arguments" (even though this is intended to be a civil discussion - not an argument) pertaining to the "Best 4 person all caster/priest group" discussion.

Of course - speaking strictly mathematically - 4=/=5, so it is unclear why DSM has attempted to bring this 5th character into the equation or why his posts would seem to indicate that believes doing so is not an example of him moving goalposts - when it objectively is - hehe.
