More of a psychological thing I'm sure after having become severely sick from drinking it of course. It just doesn't do it for me. Scotch has a much better flavor in my opinion. If you're out to get drunk without tasting the alcohol, power to you I guess.

Oh and btw, no vodka "tastes like water". It's still alcohol, thus still tasting like alcohol.

The majority of vodka snobs wouldn't know the difference between a bottle of grey goose or a bottle of grey goose filled with gordons tbh.

irl i saw a professional vodka taste tester fail 4 out of 5 times testing grey goose vs some rotgut vodka which had been passed through a home made charcoal filter 3 times
