look around all you see is fake smiles, forced pleasantries, every "issue group" has fractured into their own militant form of activism.

like nobody is happy, happiness isn't some grand mystery, its simply just feeling okay with the world around you, and the advent of social media has forced every concept imaginable onto everyone, statistically speaking, you wont like something out there, and you're gonna hear about it again and again and again. So you don't use social media? Everyone you know does, and they'll tell you about it, or you'll hear about it on the news, TV, movies, etc etc. You cannot avoid it.

Anyone who says they are "happy" has just succeeded in lying to themselves. Literally no one is happy out there. I meet alot of people in my job, and social life, and you can see it in their faces sometimes, but I posess the third eye. I can see into souls. Its like an empathy superpower. I feel what you feel when i look in your eyes. Everyone is pissed off, scared, and desperately trying to keep up the "I'm Happy" wall

yeah i know how it sounds, There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than dreamt of in your philosophy. Yeah thats right. Shakespeare. The onion of Trexller has many layers.

This "Modern world" that we have built is a house of cards and its going to crumble, as spectacularly as it is devastating.

If they're angry, they're not nearly angry enough. Folks complaining from the safety and comfort of their living room couches aren't accomplishing anything. I did what I could but most days I was entirely alone. In retrospect I wonder if the internet might be the worst thing to happen to our culture. Angry folks used to complain at city hall or at least write letters to the newspaper or to their representatives now simply blow off their steam on the internet where it's vented ineffectually. Makes it easier for the fringe elements--who do still have the drive to get up and physically do stuff--to exert disproportionate influence.
