Well, I appreciate that you're trying to find the truth here, but standing in the room is the exact way we held or handed off that camp on Green pre-Kunark. Surely one can't claim the Tranix camp while they're elsewhere in the zone. Imagine you show up at an empty Tranix room and plop down, and then hours later someone shows up and says "actually I was camping it," and you're supposed to believe them and leave? How do you know they actually killed the last spawn?

No, standard camp rules are not to be applied to an 8-hour spawn such as Tranix. You have to flop a character in there.

There's logic, and then there are P99 rules, which are sometimes kept simple even if that seems a bit illogical.

Also, it could be argued that one shouldn't have to do nothing for 8 hours when no one else is in the zone competing for the mob.

Leaving a level 17 monk flopped to claim tranix was one of the dumbest moves I'd seen at this camp. I much prefer to see a level 60 shaman monopolize it.
