New Shaman Help

Hello everyone!

I havent played EQ since 1998(Beta tested)-2003.. I started a new Shammy(Bar) of green server named Neverending ( yes from the movie [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]) is his name and got some basic gear from some nice people. I am looking for banded mail and cant find anyone making it? I am asking if anyone has a hand 10+ Dmg 2h blunt weapon as well to help me lvl.

While it may be difficult to do, if you can secure a port to West Commons and then hop over to EC, you can probably /auc that you're looking for someone to make you banded armor. As for a cheap starter 2hb I can't think of a decent low-price option off the top of my head but if you hang around in EC long enough you're bound to see something you can snag up for 100p or less.

Don't spend too much time worrying about gear though. If you level up and progress you will get what you need and receive handouts as you go along.

But that's just my suggestion.

This. Shaman can basically level to 60 in whatever they loot as they pickup as they XP. The +5 AC (or +3 Wisdom, or whatever) from random stat gear (eg. Banded) truly won't have any impact on you.

Instead, save your plat up: you'll need it for higher level spells, and for really key items that do matter ... eg. the Jaundiced Bone Bracer, a Fungi Tunic, or your epic.
