Yes, I am glad there is money being used for zany tech ideas and that he didn't put it all into champagne and country estates. But again, Big Man Gates and Paul Allen set that precedent. If you aren't irritated by his con it's prolly cuz you bought it. I like real geniuses and am triggered by fakes, particularly ones who are transparently very sad and empty and who harbor vicious political views. i'd compare him with Howard Hughes, but he has no demonstrated balls (he hasn't ridden one of his own rockets yet no?)

My opinion of him improved slightly after watching his commentary within https://www.netflix.com/title/801443...entIntent=true and a few other soundbites of him talking to people. I think he's just a really giddy boy who'll do anything to get what he wants.

His wife is scooped, but its probably equal parts charity acceptance and Elon's broken version of perfectionism and exceptionalism leading to abuse. She may have just started that way, I was never interested in her, maybe I should see. If I got waifu'd I'd appear pretty vacant, menopausal, and distant in public just because that really is my meatpace nature.

I think he just collects people (not only particularly wives) like crazy ladies collect cats. Just because he's hard on his employees doesn't mean he's not constantly rescuing and abandoning people because he can't friend properly (I relate, don't hate).

He won't be Satan. That's gonna be a clone.
