I wear one so I don't have to kill someone. If I don't some useful idiot might get upset and vent their feelings in my face and the next thing you know I'm beating their skull against the concrete just over and over and over. Everyone is on a hair-trigger these days including me. I'm not pleading manslaughter down, that shit is expensive. Masks are cheap. My pragmatism beat the shit out of my idealism a long long time ago.
