Is it worth it? Everything is so confusing. I also am missing 3 expansions, and I dunno if I wanna shell out the cash.

EDIT: Hmm... its only 19.95 on direct2drive still. How is it over half as much from a third party vendor? Anyways... gah its a tough decision.

Having someone 20 levels higher than you just start dumping mobs on you is no fun. No fun at all.

Fuck that shit. EQ is too slow to deal with that. I need like thousands of AAs and 20 levels to be competitive and people are gonna pull this shit? I don't have the time.

got my ranger 80 with a 600k twink. 26k hp / 3500ac unbuffed missing a few slots too still

need a couple hundred more AA and like 2.0 and i'll be a megabaws.

no more 90 monk for PL but got 90zerk+merc which is the same thing tbh

Its everquest pvp. Griefing and grinding is its foundation. The faint of heart need not apply. Had my first real pvp today and beat a twink pretty handily. He didn't pumice or nothin. Yeah gear and AAs take a long while, but its worth it to school people who think they can pvp

Yea.... when someone is invulnerable and can dump mobs on you, that isn't hardcore. It's annoying pussy shit. If you can't even go to out of the way zones no one has any business being in anymore without this shit happening, it isn't worth playing.

I've never reported someone. I played on SZ and never bitched about getting ganked and I played good team.

I was on tz/rz as well. Shit happened, but if people can find you within 5 minutes of being in an empty zone anon, what's the point? I guess poeple just /who [zone] count all till they find someone?

I can guarantee the person wasn't there for loots or anything else.

EDIT: also, everquest pvp isn't about griefing and grinding. People reported people to hell for training. Look at SZ, invulnerable trainer - fansy -- and they changed the rules as a result.

"zek" alone is terrible. That's when I quit the game on live servers for good when they merged the good standalone servers into zek. I was happy with the population on rallos zek .. easy to get a group really and it wasnt too many people to have madness. When they merged zek, there were less people than there was to begin with because everyone quit from the shitty ruleset.

Rallos zek ruleset ftw. You guys cant handle it. Zek ruleset? Awful. And right now, you get these level 5's running around with like 1300 hp. Considering you only do like 12 dmg with your spells, you do the math. PvP doesnt exist at low levels anymore because of ridiculous live buffs for newbs

Some of your arguments have no weight from reality. They're just ideas that are quotes as truths:

1) The population didn't go down when Zek went live, maybe a lot of people from RZ quit because they didn't get their ruleset *cry me a river, build a bridge and get over it*.

2) 1300 hp because people stack hp gear, again get over it. If you want to PVP at level 5 you should go play wow.

3) People "can't handle" RZ ruleset? WTF are you smoking. I actually think RZ ruleset was the best even though I played on TZ @ live. You're just stroking your e-womanhood right now. Get over yourself.
