That's not what happened at all, Kental. Both myself AND another member of the group specifically said we were leaving and getting a port to EJ. We just hadn't dropped group yet and the rest of you decided to pull after we left. Your own fault, not mine. I absolutely never said "you suck" and purposefully let you die and then left either. Don't twist your own mistake into being angry and blaming me.

As for the fungal regen, I asked you calmly not to put it on me two separate times. You continued to do it, at which point I spammed group chat since that seemed to be the only way to get you to listen. I didn't want it on me because I was trying to root park and the slow movement means a bigger chance of me getting as I try to move out of melee range, in addition to causing other movement problems. When I'm trying to click on targets and cast spells I really don't want to waste the time to click off fungal regen, no. And the time that it takes me to click it off can mean the difference between living and dying, especially if I'm holding down right mouse cursor while moving and having to click over to my buff/debuff boxes accidentally causes the game camera to spin all over the place.

Funny how I never have any problems when grouping with Divinity or Ascension.

No I haven't. Please point to one thing. Just empty words here. If there is something I don't understand then I will say so. But all of the matters I talk about with authority are things I very clearly know about.

Actually everybody doesn't. That's why there are specifically messages and posts all the time in this vein. Even if many people do know what to do (duh, I'm hardly the only one who played back in the day), that's irrelevant to my ideas of actually making the game better.

Is there any other explanation for the sheer volume of bad stories people have involving you? I mean either it's you or all of them who are the bad players right?

This entire post about class balance (you remember this horrendous thread, right?) made people's head's explode. It must take some serious cognitive dissonance to initiate a useless circle jerking of ideas that will never see the light of day on this, or even any other server.

Unless, of course, you are one of these classic extremists that starts posts on the forums imagining this is the SOE boards and you're posting where devs can see, day dreaming of a patch with your idea in it. In which case your dedication deserves both strange looks and applause.

It's not moot at all, it's discussion. Doesn't really matter if the developers don't implement anything of the sort on the server, I still want to talk about it. Given that this is a gaming community, specifically one about EQ Classic, it's a good place to talk about such things. If you don't want to talk about it then don't. Plenty of people have been interested in my ideas and/or want to share their own as well.

I never made that assumption, I simply didn't want to give a blatant answer, for the reasons I described in the thread. This also doesn't prove anything about your supposed theory that the EQ-related information I've been talking about has been incorrect. It's merely you disagreeing with my taste.

Only because they didn't want to talk about the subject, which is their own problem. If you don't want to talk about it then don't respond to the thread. Then there were also people who disagreed with what I said because they didn't play in that era and/or don't understand game mechanics, and were aghast at the things I was talking about. It's not that I was wrong about what I spoke of.

Like I said, he was probably a person who was spamming me for Clarity before we grouped together. Then, when he did join my group, I joked with him before we started pulling about how I couldn't Clarity him. He didn't understand the humor.

Everything you just wrote has nothing to do with me "not understanding the game", which was what you tried to claim. It's only a bunch of people whining about me sharing my opinion, or disagreeing with how I play the game (which is very much in the spirit of actual Classic Everquest), or misunderstanding my points, or being angry that something went wrong in-game me taking the time to try and explain to them what I felt they were doing wrong (and thus they can not handle constructive criticism).

I like the part where he left out how people picked him apart for his countless fallacies. Course, he denies the "I never said I was a guru, it was you people!" like he's the victim or something.

The problem is your smug, know-it-all, holier-than-thou attitude. Also, you are talking theoretical class balance and being utterly thick headed about it in Server Discussion "General discussion related to Project 1999 and classic Everquest." (class balance is not related to either of those things, because the changes made to the server are basically set in stone), when it would be better suited in "Off-Topic".
