Regular invis and Invis Vs Undead work real good in there though, also harmony, so it is kind of pointless.

Why invis and IVU? Unless you are going to kill something? No one trying to max their faction with MM is doing it to sneak pasts mobs... to go kill mobs... to ruin their MM faction they spent time building up.

The point is to be "one with the wall" in MM.

an NPC can only be on one faction. But you can lose several by killing it. All the NPCs in mistmoore are on AgentsOfMistmoore which cannot be raised.

This is correct.

If it were possible to become non-KOS in Mistmoore, people on Red would have done it for easy kills. Being non-KOS in Mistmoore would be a huge advantage and quite unbalanced.

Every mob is on a single faction. How do we know? When we raise or lower Faction A, it doesn't give us a different standing with Faction B. Factions do not interact and are not averaged.

I'm not sure this can be proven except by talking to devs, but I'm not sure why anyone would think this is not the case. You have your answer: you can't become non-KOS in Mistmoore.

to answer ur question I would invis around on my half elf druid all the time just to camp a few things here and there without killing 200 mobs back when I was like 52
