very difficult to find groups pre 20.. Like I have argued the server split wasn't necessary the power bottoms will jump ahead and the casual or gamer with a work life balance will struggle with 2 low pop servers to find half assed groups.

I called this

most newb yards are 20 people and adjacent dungeons are empty
You ever take a break from bitching about the server split, or is this your life now?

People pick the strangest things to fixate on. I remember folks who quit (or at least raged and said they'd quit) over the stamina bar not working, or over buff timers being removed, or other seemingly trivial nonsense. The pre-split "Green" server population was greater than March '99 servers could even handle prior to later hardware upgrades, and the current populations are more nearly accurate to in-era norms. Maybe he could explain what his REAL problem is, but he's not going to gain much traction claiming that era-appropriate populations are somehow "dead."

I decided to play a shaman this time around and I find myself playing as a discount palladin 90% of the time.
Tanking with flash of light feels too familiar.
Root is nice to have though

i havent had the worst time trying to get a group as a rouge, but sometimes it takes work, if one zone isnt biting i have to move on to the next. Not getting optimal exp, but it is what it is, the higher i get in level the more it works out. After 20 the pet classes will start to dry up, all fighting for spell reaserch to remain useful to the group, but me rogue? oh i am ready with my dagger.

its classic, charmed pets and mages are the best choice

druids are decent for solo as are shamans, making a rogue for classic isnt the best idea.

I'm a 12 rogue and finding a group is usually easy. But, today is was brutal. Not a group to be had. I'm sure it's different at the higher levels, but I just don't see how anyone with a job can be level 20+ right now.

Overall, I've found that we have a good mix of classes in the 10-15 range. No idea what it'll be like post 20.
You can definitely be 20+, the problem is that most people prefer to just sit around LFG waiting for the ultimate group to just fall in their lap. The trick is that you sometimes need to form your own group. Do w alls lfg around your level range and start sending tells. Just like mostly everything else in life, if you want it done you need to do it yourself.

If you check the /who all X-X LFG of every level range, the tanks are high and dry.
They want tanks not warriors. Wars suck at holding agro.

They dont want exp pen.

What is left? Pets

Mage nerfed... so necro pets.

Melee is hard to find anyway so dont invite them and you are good with pet tanks and casters.

This is my life. Except with Bloodforge Hammer and DoT's. Thank god I have banded armor.

This is also true. Spent some time in befallen today LFG as a shaman. Then a chanter popped in so we duo'ed...so now we have a weird setup where chanter pulls, takes a hit so pet adds, and then I DoT and tank, as a shammy. Then we randomly get a cleric and another enchanter who was high enough to charm and suddenly we have a group rocking and rolling. It ain't perfect, but you CAN'T expect perfection right now. Unless you ARE one of the brave souls who rolled a pally or SK.
