3 years from now, you will have no regrets of rolling a human druid. But if you dont roll what you want now you could regret it 3 years from now. Think about looking at a 50+ halfling/woodelf druid and thinking "Should i have just made him a Human?"

Human Druid isn't significantly different from Halfling or Wood Elf. In some ways they're better (higher stam).

I also was questioning this and ended up deciding to go Human Druid, would like the wood elfs mana pool and agility but I will have more fun being a human.

I always wanted a DE SK more then any other character, but ive never made one.. Because the truth hurts. Its one of the weakest combos in game.
