Welcome to the server!

And yes save your bone chips. They sell for 10p a stack (in EC and other zones). Don't sell them for less. Discounting doesn't make them sell faster just for less. Often one person will buy all you have. Just takes patience at times. And when you first make it to EC you'll see that 10p is nothing considering items going for MASSIVE plat.

Large Sewing kits are the best cheaper bags imo. low weight, 8 slots and giant size items. Cost a lil over 1p each.

Newb pro-tip! Everyone always picks up backpacks, but large sewing kits can hold GIANT items and otherwise have the same stats as backpacks. IIRC they're also cheaper to purchase. If nothing else, they make great bank storage as you get WR containers while adventuring.

Totally, I did buy a couple of 8 slot backpacks for 5g each just to have a little space till have the platinum to buy the kits.

So far so good though. I have 2pp and my level 4 & 5 songs already purchased and I bough a leather gorget and mask for like 7g each.

So.. yeh.. no complaints so far ^^

The kits also weigh 0.8 instead of 3.0 which makes quite a big difference, I carry them on my untwinked cleric for that reason alone.

Welp time for me to get a little sleep, but not bad for my first night back I think.
6 hours level 4 and some change? lol ok maybe thats terrible, but w/e I'm having a BLAST! heh Thanks again everyone I have to admit the really pleasant welcome into the game has really made this so much more enjoyable already. I really miss the community we had in EQ classic, and I've really never seen anything like it since. I'm so happy you've all been able to reestablish that here on this server and I'm So looking forward to becoming a part of it!

You can run the mail quests between Kelethin and Felwithe, this will get you to level 6 relatively fast and net you ~15gold per run. Go to Felwithe and find the bard there, I forget his name, but after you cross the bridge and go through the little opening on your right you'll see him standing there next to a building. Hail him and say 'Deliver to kelethin' then run back to Kelethin and turn it in to the person in the Bard guild. The Felwithe guy will tell you his name, I don't remember it off the top of my head.

Once you get selos at 5 this becomes super fast, or if you beg a SoW it'll go nice and quick too.

Going from memory his name is Tacar Tissleplay or something. I heart the mail quest. It's a bit tedious but will get you in shape to go kill orcs on orc hill.

So.. I'm considering playing P1999 I quit EQ when Luclin came out, I wasn't a fan of the whole Scifi feel when I beta tested it and opted to leave after playing "fanatically" from classic beta through Velious.

Let me know when you are near EC if you would like some Bronze armor. My bard is camped there and I don't play him anymore.

Sure BP's are cheaper. but sewing kits weigh much less. .4 weight is really nice.
