spinach is just one green and unless your growing it yourself I wouldn't bother

all commercially purchased vegetables have almost nothing in them because they use growth hormones to make it grow faster so it can be marketed further from where its grown.
I'm all for your advice my little tomato head. But man your expectations of health are seriously high.. I have to now grow my own spinach and veggies cause otherwise they have 0 nutritional value? That's pretty harsh.. And I eat my weight in protein, maybe a little less, so you're saying i should chop my protein consumption down to 60g of protein a day? As a 33 year old adult who works a physical job and hits the gym 6 days a week for an hour, i can't properly accept your advice.. Not without proof that what you're doing or suggesting works or pays off.. I accept meads and skarlorns advice, because they have provided evidence...

Not only that but i take a fair share of daily vitamins and supplements. Aka i supplement what i can't get from eating.. That's what supplements are for. I can't raise my own proteins, and harvest my own fruits/veggies in a 2 bedroom apartment. I think you need to be a bit more realistic man.

I don’t think he knows what he’s talking about. It’s not all garbage, just not much understanding behind it. Complex carbohydrates are a good idea, for sure. Growth hormone part sounds like Alex Jones... Double carb / protein you need is a dumb statement without knowing exactly what your macros are. Need is a strong word anyways. Btw what are your macros? 480 cal protein so far.

Good morning! I’m slacking hard on my studying today.

Carbs = 1292 45%
Protein = 860 30%
Fat = 720 25%

Total = 2872

I don’t have much input on this but I like seeing what macros people do and how it works out for them. Your protein intake -is- high, it’s well above 2.2g/kg for muscle building, definitely not double, but since you’re very active and need extra calories protein seems like a good source. More green leafys like hilter suggested wouldn’t hurt, but they severely lack calories. Anyways, I want to get back into nutrition, so ty for the numbers to play around with!

This may or may not be helpful. The estimated calorie requirements seem awfully high.

Have a great day, Jeff!

That calculator definitely shook up my numbers.. 33 y/o, 5'8, very active, 140lb.

Carb-363-525g
Fiber- 38g
Protein- 51g
Fat- 72-126g

All other stats0- Low as possible while consuming nutritionally adequate diet.

That vitamin/mineral section is suuuuuper interesting...

That 50g of recommended protein seems soooo low tho! I'd get that in 1 post workout shake!? At that point you almost have to strategize how to cut back on your daily intake protein, that's tough!

How many calories did it want you on? Not sure I trust these numbers at all. 50g protein is .8g/kg (sedentary) so it’s not adjusting that for your activity level. Might wanna disregard. Figured .gov would be a good source. Minerals and vitamins might be accurate.

greens for nutrients, meats dairy and cheese for fats

skip the carbs

your welcome

PS Start gardening today, everything available in the store is horrible and if you care about yourself start taking some initiative to grow your own stuff. Start with greens.

and don't call me hitler because I do not agree with your life choices, its not too late to go back to being a normal guy ( you could still have a normal life )
