Our ToV adventures continued and....awwwww, Zadkiel found a lap-guardian! I would prefer a lapcat or lapdog instead.

First, we heard what we thought we'd never hear, now we found ourselves in Western Wastes fighting a dragon I thought I'd never see! He kinda reminds me of a stinky ole dragon from deep inside ToV...

The call went out for the Kittens to assemble. Our greatest foe had been sighted and it was laying waste to the sparsely populated ocean of Timorous Deep. I started running back to meet the Kittens but even with my trusty North Freeport hand drum, it was hard to stay out of reach of it. It was about to get me when Purpyl caught up! She got his attention by singing the level 12 direct damage song at him. She would have sung a higher level one but she couldn't afford to buy it. It didn't matter. It got her attention and started chasing her!

Purpyl and I had it chase us in the direction of the Kittens. It was quite a relief when we saw the sea of bronze plate and banded armors glinting on the horizon. The clerics in their leathers healed Purpyl and I as we entered the camp. Purpyl and I had mere seconds to equip our weapons because Faydedar was upon us.

People were feared and running everywhere. It was pandelerium! Groups were reporting in... "This person was down". And "That person was down". There was sobbing in Discord!

Some people were still able to attack but most were running around in a stampede of insanity.

Faydedar's hitpoints were dropping but it seemed like our raiders were dropping even faster! Our original raid force of 100 was quickly down to 80 then 70 and then in the blink of an eye we were down to 20. I remember yelling into Discord, "Die damn you!!!" And then I realized my microphone was turned off. Gah! Foiled at every turn!

And then I was dead and all I could do was listen with baited breath hoping beyond hope that we could finish him off. Droar yelled out that it was just he and Kasani the Druid left.

I couldn't listen any longer. I took off my headset. I covered my head with a pillow. I started screaming the lyrics to "Kiss By A Rose" at the top of my lungs! I cried heavy, salty tears for the disaster that had befallen my fellow Kittens and I.

After several minutes, I pulled myself together and put my headset back on. People were cheering! We had won! We had pulled it off! 98 members of our 100 member raid force had died but we killed the bastard!

The pride we all felt as we ran from East Freeport to the dock in the Oasis, I will never forget! The feelings of solidarity I felt with the 97 Kittens sitting next to me on the raft as we floated out to TD to loot our corpses was almost tangible. You could feel the love!

Next order of business... This guild needs some Rez sticks!

7 months ago plus some variance, 100 kittens bested the leviathan of Timorous Deep.

Peace was restored to the sea. Ogres and Parrots started developing beach front property. A small retreat opened in the far south of the sea, that offered private yoga retreats with an unlimited supply of reasonably priced wine. Kittens have become so much stronger in those 7 months plus some variance: traded the bronze plate for fine plate; worn the polish off our granite tomahawks and and picked up green jade broadswords. It was a pleasant night with only a few clouds in the sky, when Faydedar returned.

The Great Oowomp used his magic to light the catsignal in the night sky. Many kittens sprung into action, traipsing their way to the docks in oasis, ready to face the day we feared would come. Yet many kittens decided to continue napping. There was only 43 of us kittens this time. We knew we had to face down this terror in the sea no matter what the odds...

Heathcliff was nowhere to be found; I had last heard he was teaching his half half-elf half-iksar child in Cabalis to be the first quarter-elf-iksar bard. Purpyl had to find the beast on her own and lure him to the kitten trap. Another vigilante group seeking fame and fortune, had entered the Deep and began searching for the monster themselves. There was only 5 of them, and Purpyl knew that 5 heroes would surely meet a fiery end to the monster. She immediately knew she had to save them as well.

After searching the ocean for several minutes, Purpyl emerged from the depths completely unscathed! Seconds later the dragon burst forth onto the shore.

Filled with revenge-fueled bloodlust, Faydedar moved as quickly on land as he swam through the ocean. Some of the younger kittens, inexperienced in battle; started fleeing uncontrollably. Our Dwarf Warrior, Thibble, started shouting commands to paw the line. It was pandelerium!

Paws, Fists, and blades were flying. Faydedar was spinning and attacking anyone he saw. He kept attacking a new cat each swing, but could not find a killing a blow. He roared in frustration; but he wasnt scaring anyone. He lost his footing as he was pushed erratically in seemingly every direction by the onslaught of kittens.

The fight lasted only seconds, though it felt like days.

I played with a few kittens today in The Oasis on the Orc Highway as Quemn the Bard and had a good time.

At 17 he's my highest level character. I only play casually, is the Kittens Who Say Meow right for me?

Hi mrwynd and thanks for your interest in the kitticats! We are a guild of all levels. There are quite a few of us that are 46+ and we raid quite regularly. There are also many up-and-coming kitticats who have started, and are growing within the guild.

The choice is certainly yours if you so choose to join us; the minimum level is 15 to join so you are good there. There is an application you can find on our website kwsm.ninja or on our Kitten Friends Discord server. (Discord link can be found on the kwsm.ninja site).

Whatever your level is, I have found the kittens find fun wherever they go in Norrath! Check us out!
