you want a hot video series tecmos? Do a solo artist challenge video where you check off every mob on the list over the course of many videos.

I've played multiple 60 chanters. Why not do the SAC more than once? Lol [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I'd have to go back through the videos on my end to pause when I open my inventory... which sounds like a huge pain.

Up until 50+ though I don't think I really had anything too fancy. Tranix crown, hiero cloak are probably the most expensive pieces besides the goblin gazughi ring. Other than that I just try to find the most efficient charisma items (so like, sure, I could have worn a +5 charisma robe but the tola robe is kinda awesome for the price, delivering 10 int, 50 mana, some strength, etc... so that's a slot I didn't get charisma on) like rod of insidious glamour, jewelcrafted charisma pieces, loam boots, etc. As I leveled and my charisma buff put me over 255, I basically just traded out JCed charisma rings for 6/65 rings... I don't really remember many other changes over time.

My basic idea is I try to max charisma, for leveling up especially since I don't have to deal with summoners and sometimes have more room to work with, as long as it isn't a huge tradeoff to do so in any given slot. Once I get 50+ I keep charisma maxed (which is easier cause the buff is 40-50 points) and add in hp and ac gear like 6/65 rings, idol of the thorned, orb of the infinite void, etc., reasoning that I basically never lose a fight because I went from 100m to oom, but I regularly lose fights because I die on bad pull or charm break because I take too much damage. Int/mp/magic resist are all on my list of nice things to have, they're just generally things I pick up along the way, not that I focus on.

I think you shoiuld, if you were looking to make more videos. It gives you direction, and your experience will make it that much more enjoyable becuse youll either have cool strats already, youll know ones that dont work, and youll experement with new ones

I mean if you're making enchanter videos, unless you're making crafting how to's then you're gonna be killing a mob on the solo artist challange anywayl, so why not make a series about it! It'd be fire. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

We'll see if I've got the motivation. P99 nearly broke me yesterday. Actually logged off without my corpse cause I was so fed up with getting the shittiest charm breaks all day long. I've probably only called it a day while my body was still rotting in the bottom of a dungeon like 3 times in my history on P99 :-/

Big fan of your videos, and would love to see more stuff in the lower level range (especially dungeon stuff).

My ench is only 24 and while I learned a ton watching your vids, its definitely a lot different charm soloing when spells like calm, stun, and root take a decent chunk of mana. Would love to see how you break camps like the goblin camps in Najena with multiple mage mobs with pets.

Really enjoying the class, learning a ton (and dying a ton) in upper guk and cant wait to hit some of the spots in your vids once I gain a few levels!

Yeah my idea of deleveling Noman faded quickly. I'll get around to making a new chanter and putting him in ALS and doing some 12-30 videos.

Iirc I did kerra isle (pretty crazy zone to charm in cause of rangers snaring you and shamans healing and whatever), najena (spiders, goblins, skeletons? it really wasn't too tricky compared to kerra), Sola (lololol farmers, PLers, random high levels killing my mobs cause they saw invis and aggrod ... FUCK that zone and the people in it) before I started Noman's videos with CT.

It's a shame charming is so tough before the mid-20s or so, cause I'm pretty fond of most low-level dungeons, but they're pretty risky to do leveling in when charm is fickle and mana regen is crap, even if you do twink for nice cha and mana pool and goblin ring and whatnot. Iirc I wanted to visit more zones than I did when I leveled Noman, but I had a hard time finding spots where solo charming could work well... too many spots have a wide level range in the same camp so you're either low enough you cant do it or too high to get xp from half the mobs. But I wouldn't mind testing the waters again in befallen, blackburrow, etc. Everyone knows kurns but it's a fun place still.
