Default Strange Conn-X bug?

For the last 2 weeks I have been experiencing a strange anomaly in game. Sometimes I start to go LD. It usually goes down to 60-70%, then reconnects. (Back to 100).

However, after it reconnects, all of my controls and spell gem icons are froze. I can see other players and MoBs running around as usual, but I can't do anything. When I try, I get the sys message, "You cannot use that command right now...."

Literally, my only option is to /exit and log back on.

Any ideas on what is going on or how to fix it?

It sounds like you are losing connectivity and then regaining it. (Temporary internet outage) but that does result in your client getting all fucked up. I believe he only fix might be to hassle your ISP or look into other reasons you might be hitting lag spikes/connection issues. Is someone else in your household torrenting or anything?

I don't think it is a ISP conn-x issue, as when I am going LD, I can still tab out and use the internet browser.

No one else in house but me can use the internet, and I only have my comp hooked in.

In the original game, (18 years ago) I do remember this happening every once in a while, but the game always re-synced (caught up) and was fully functional again.

I'm just perplexed.
