Avast being called a "debugger"

Has anyone run into the problem where when Avast Antivirus is on it wont let you start up EQ because it says "You can't play EQ while running a debugger on P99" ?

Does anyone know how to get rid of this problem, and keep Avast on during gameplay ? Currently I can only get around it by disabling Avast.

Yeah, I had the same issue. You will need to setup a folder exclusion for your install directory and use a wildcard. For example, mine is set for C:\P99\*

I have been using Avast for a long time. Now I do not use it, as it eats up a lot of disk space and slows down the PC
