Default Question regarding AA's

Been searching the net and cannot find any info on whether or not P99 has instituted Alternate Advancements, so I'm asking here. Have they put this in?

Hi Kadaru2,

AA wasn't implemented until Shadows of Luclin, so it isn't implemented on P99 (and probably won't be if, I were to hazard a guess).

It's more than just "probably": the people behind this server have a passionate hatred for all things Luclin and have made it abundantly clear in past threads that they will never add Luclin content to P99.

However, there is a slight hope of something like AAs when custom content comes to Blue (my best guess for this would be in 2020, based on their past progress). Devs have expressed open-mindedness to the idea of certain abilities (that in Luclin were earned with AA XP) being given as part of a quest. For instance, AAs would still be gone, but a Shaman who completes a very hard quest might be able to gain a Cann V ... something (it's unclear whether it would be spell, item, or would somehow re-use the AA tech built in to the Titanium client).

But even that's only been discussed on the "maybe it could happen" level. AFAIK when it comes to "alternate AAs" the devs have never even said as much as "we're seriously thinking about doing this", so it's entirely possible they will never happen, not even in 2020.

I would love for luclin to come out. It was the last 60 exp pack and the last exp that I really enjoyed. Farming AA's in all my old fav zones was the biznes after raids.

Interesting, good to know! The alternate AAs sound interesting, but that would take a lot of work so I wouldn't blame the P99 server powers that be in the slightest if they decide not to do it.

Thanks for the insight, Loramin!
